Having exams is life transforming. Really it is. You learn so much. Naah not from the books nor for the course but to set your life in order. For instance, to avoid hitting the books you clean your room, do your laundry, clean the kitchen and the bathroom, fold your clothes, go to the supermarket, buy groceries, cook food, eat food, make your bed, develop an exercise routine that you stick to, wear face masks, put on nail polish, oil your hair, call people you haven’t spoken to for months, talk about things that previously used to irritate the hell out of you, offer to help your chinese flatmate learn english and update your facebook profile.
It helps you form habits that people like your parents have been trying to enforce upon you for years. See there’s a reason behind everything. :-)
