Or maybe being Alpha all the time is too stressful and they yearn for somebody with whom they can be less Alpha. I think of them as strong people who know have conviction, endeavour to stand by their principles whatever they might be, go after their goals and the endurance to stand by their beliefs/friends/family or what they believe is right. These are not necessarily aggressive people. I would say Teresa was an Alpha female even though she was soft spoken and gentle, she had conviction in her beliefs and went after her dream.
